Ms. Lammers gives a tremendous performance; it was the writing that was scattered for me. The takeaway from the story as a whole did not resonate. The play deserves additional performances, but with revisions. One possibility is to include other anthropologic parts with sound effects, music and no dialogue, as if reliving parts of the story.... full review

This was a personal Tour de Force for Dufflyn Lammers. With brutal honesty and expression, she courageously explores her complicated relationship with her mother. Seamlessly flowing between speaking as both her mother and herself, she reveals how having an emotionally absent mom who parented through a filter of addiction and a need for attention shaped the mirror in which she saw herself and the path she traveled to grow into the person she is today.
