What I liked

The duet in the third act is worth the price of admission alone. The timbre and voice color in the character’s voices worked so well together. Overall, the show is a little longer than most Fringe shows, but it doesn’t feel any longer—in fact, it flies by. The story is a cheesy 50’s musical, and I love all the Velveeta, but what I REALLY love about this show is that the third act really delves into some dark subject matter and often triggers a thought-provoking conversation, which I didn’t expect—but I didn’t mind it. I think it’s humorous and cheesy good fun.

What I didn't like

This is a tech issue which I know will get resolved, but sometimes the music overpowered and drowned out the voices, but this is just a matter of adjusting levels—other than that, I’m not sure what else I would say that I “didn’t like.”

OH, MAJOR SPOILER HERE (DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT IT SPOILED FOR YOU): The staging of Luke’s death was low on the ground, and from where I was sitting, I didn’t even get to see it because my view was blocked by someone else’s head. Easily a quick fix to possibly adjust the lighting and upstage it a bit. This may have also been the area I was in.

My overall impression

Tons of fun, don’t miss it!
