Taking a campy premise and running with it full-tilt, this was damn fun. A fictional town called Perfection, California, where the political power has repressed every little thing considered bad or deviant. The is a musical comedy but there is a serious edge that takes the piece into a more meaningful and disturbing territory. The camp is always there, but there are some interesting points being made about the misuse of power, as well. ... full review

A worthy effort by first time company They Played Productions. Worthy of your time, especially if you like good musical adaptions of horror stories. Check out our full review at Indie Voice Blog.... full review

The show was a rollicking good time. The 50s camp ties the show to a timeless cultural reference point that is a great stepford like setting for the town of Perfection. This "place out of time" aspect mixes well and at times poignantly with very real problems that we are much more aware of today though sadly still somewhat insensitive too. The show is funny and the music memorable.... full review

First off, no "werewolves" ( i'm sorry, a bad Elvis wig does not a werewolf make) Second, there was no "rock" in this "rock musical." Third, " nothing bad?" They are wrong on that score too. Talk about a misleading title... (*Place eye roll emoji here.) What I liked, Jake Saenz and Lexi Eisermen were both excellent, I would say the cast overall was extremely committed, and made a noble effort with varying degrees of success. But as for Jake and Lexi, I would be eager to see them in anything else. Now for the bad. I agree rape song was awkward. Not ill-intended. Just ill-conceived - and not because rape shouldn't be addressed on stage, but because the way it was clumsily plopped in the middle of this horror satire (?) during which, ... full review

A great effort and a great concept.... this had all the elements for a Reefer-Madness kind of kick and fun... but fell short by trying to drag 50 minutes of real show to 90 minutes. ... full review
