Beryl Swiver knows how to put on a great show. Funny? Check. Profound? Check. Great singing? Check. Entertaining? Double check. Besides Ms. Swiver's wonderful work, I need to give kudos to her production team. Mr. Scholl's direction is outstanding, Richard Levinson provides sensitive musical accompaniment to the sparkling songs that he also wrote, as well as the book that he and Rebecca Larsen co-wrote. Props to Brian Wallis as Producer, and other contributing artists that make this a great show. Good luck getting a ticket.... full review

Gratitusical is the sub-text from every over-indulgent, self-serving cabaret act you've ever seen shouted out loud for all to hear. The writing and performance are polished to a gleaming sheen and when going off-script Rebecca Larsen's improv is razor sharp. Richard Levinson's songs run the gamut from plain silly to practically doctoral in their lyrical erudition. Taken together, Levinson and Larsen are a comedic powerhouse that's difficult to top.... full review

This show is a hoot and a half! Ms. Larsen plays Beryl Swiver, a chanteuse who takes the audience on a musical trip through her sordid past. The original songs are hilarious and Ms. Larsen sings them beautifully with gusto and bawdy charm.... full review

Miss Beryl Swiver has been charming audiences in lounges from Palm Springs to the Salton Sea for years, and she wants to share so much with us! Rebecca Larsen's superb portrayal of the singer deftly mixes improvisation, calibration and a spectacular amount of evening makeup. Richard Levinson's humorous songs and keyboard accompaniment help loft the proceedings into high caricature. Miss Beryl Swiver, the next time we meet I hope it's in the wee small hours of the morning and we both have martinis in our hands.... full review
