What I liked

The genius playwright Danny Bernardo orchestrates a symphony of quick-witted words that not only gives a great representation of the millennial struggle – as most reviews mention – but also conveys the complexities and humor in finding courage while navigating through friendship, love, jealousy, job searching, marketing and scandal. Danny Bernardo’s verbiage are comparable to Aaron Sorkin’s style – filled with quick rhythms and cadences that must have been an immense challenge for the talented and well-cast actors – who dazzled in how they handled the text. The actors had great comedic timing. The style in which the lead addresses the audience worked perfectly in the intimate black box theater. “Fuck My Life” also proves that diversity isn’t hard to achieve. Diversity is truthful. When is this play going to be published? Is there a best playwright award for the fringe?

What I didn't like

The actors worked amazingly with the text. The humor is on point, but it’d be great to see deeper connection to the hurt and pain.

My overall impression

Bravo! A great work of ART!
