What I liked

The emotional core of the story really hit home for me. I cried twice (but in a very beautiful way). The collaborative nature of the piece obviously worked out, as a lot of the dialog felt very natural and relatable in what could have easily been a very heavy-handed piece.

What I didn't like

I felt like only one of the characters’ story was given a real resolution, or even worked out “externally” rather than only in internal asides. That may have been intentional, but since the one story was explored so deeply by all three characters, it perhaps felt a little unbalanced.

My overall impression

The collaborative nature of the writing of the piece really paid off, delivering a heartbreaking but satisfying look at the lives of three people you feel like you just might know in real life. Really fantastic character work from everyone involved.
