I love monologue-based shows and found this piece to be among my favorites. The ensemble was wonderful and Marcie Maxfield describes her reason for writing "Girls Together" as "these stories needed to be set free..." I'm glad she listened to that inner voice...not only has she set them free, but she let them soar...I want to hear more stories from her.... full review

The play was well written and very broad ranging. While, it was primarily from one narrative, it was delivered in a very clever and elegant way in which each story thematically approached the author's cultural experiences by exploring the hybrid nature of identity within a backdrop of globalization and modernity. ... full review
