What I liked

Very well conceived, written, and performed. Although I learned that it had been several years in the making, the play is exceedingly (and frighteningly) timely.

The polarization that we’ve been experiencing over the past decades makes the notion of an attempted secession by Western states not so far-fetched.

My only disappointment is that more people didn’t get to see the performance.

What I didn't like

Nothing. We just need more people to watch this performance.

My overall impression

Thoughtful and thought-provoking. A story that needs a lot more exposure. Great work!

LA’s premier bouffon troupe: a motley crew of miscreants have crawled out of the gutter to make you question reality. Our feats of physical and existential comedy defy explanation and provoke unfettered, eery glee. Come see what's behind the curtain.

HOLLYWOODN’T

HOLLYWOODN'T is Lisa Verlo's solo show and personal journey across Hollywood's unsettling sexual landscape. Directed by and developed with Jessica Lynn Johnson, it is a musical memoir recounting Lisa’s experiences on the casting couches of LA.
