My overall impression

Unexpectedly, by theater invite after my friend Miss Barbie-Q’s show, I attend this performance on Friday, June 26. So I made a decision to attend another show where I was again surprised by joy. It would be 90 minutes wonderfully engaging performance of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew . I love the theater and especially loved adaptations of Shakespeare plays with new twists . This one was an amazing, gender-bending frolic . Each actor delivered a deliciously enthusiastic performance with aplomb where transgender performers played male or female roles. I especially enjoyed the role of an older man pursuing the more beautiful daughter, in her plaid pants and ass sticking out, whooping it up in the stars of the show Kate and her suitor transforming not only from a shrew but flipping genders at the end of the performance. So, the play’s the thing; Kiss Me Kate, a novel twist only in Hollywood, only on an amazing momentous day like yesterday could I have a full experience like this. I am grateful to be in my life today where I can be free to love who and when and should be available to be surprised by joy.
