We are not related to anyone in the show. For me, it was not overwhelming. For a Fringe show, it met expectations. 1) It started and ended on time. A plus! 2) The performer was trying to show us all of his impersonations not just Bobby Darin. ... full review

I attended the show at 9pm on 6/15/2015. I usually go to a show about a well known figure thinking I know the content. Boy was I wrong! Cliff Todd opened my world to a great performer in Bobby Darin with brilliant acting, singing and a stage presence that I won't soon forget! Bravo!... full review

From start to finish this one man show was dynamic, entertaining, clear, and focused. Cliff Todd moved around the stage with ease and he seamlessly transitioned from character to character. I was in awe. His voice is beautiful and I found myself wanting to hear more of it! Miles Chapman's direction was absolutely wonderful. Everything was so tastefully choreographed and nothing was gratuitous. The man clearly has a lot of talent. I hope this show wins as many hearts Off-Broadway as it has right here in Hollywood. Cheers!... full review

Cliff Todd belongs on Broadway! Run, don't walk, to this well written, beautifully performed show. Even if Bobby Darin wasn't part of your musical vocabulary, you'll have a great time. The show is a well-timed combination of humor, wit, and pathos. I hope it wins a Best of Fringe award and is held over for additional performances, because I want my friends to be able to see it. ... full review

The show had my attention from beginning to end. Cliff Todd embodies the spirit of Bobby Darin in every way. Not only is his voice amazing, Todd commands the stage and works the crowd as if he were in a nightclub. I learned a lot about Darin the man thanks to Todd's well written one man show. The humor and drama plus the outstanding music make this a must see. ... full review

Funny, engaging and powerful, "The Legend of Bobby Darin: An Unauthorized Biography," is a fast paced show that leaves you wanting more. Cliff Todd is absolutely captivating. Listening to him sing is like listening to a record of Bobby Darin himself. The performance is effortless, soulful and nuanced. The story is written brilliantly and the direction keeps the show moving forward like a freight train. It is stunning example of what theatre is meant to do- leave you thinking long after the show has ended. ... full review

This excellent show displays both the gifts of the actor-performer Cliff Todd and the director, Miles Chapman. In a miraculously tight and bracing hour, we experience the life, personality and talents of Bobby Darin, whose musical career straddled 1950s rock 'n roll, 1960s pop, early 1970s contemplative pop and standards from earlier decades. Todd is both a gifted vocalist and actor and the taut script grips us with its frankness and humor and never lets go. Well worth seeing!... full review

My wife Lindsay and I went to "The Legend of Bobby Darin: An Unauthorized Autobiography" on Friday night and it was really good show! Congrats to Cliff and Miles! Cliff can flat out sing and is an extremely gifted actor! And Miles did an incredible job directing this one man show! It's a great story about an extremely talented man I never knew existed. The show is under an hour and doesn't suck like 98% of L.A. theater. This show gave me some hope that there are actually a few people in L.A. who understand the proper components of doing good theater. Worth the effort to go check it out and you get to support a local theater festival. A win-win. ... full review
