Outstanding!! A thought provoking, engaging piece of theatre that has a Twilight Zone/Groundhog Day type of storyline. The acting is truly top-notch especially with such an intricate and delicate balance of the real and the imagined. Don't miss this one!! Really excellent.... full review

Excellent! This is the best dramatic play I saw at the Fringe this year and competitive with the best dramatic theater anywhere. From beginning to end I was riveted for an engaging story in a well-written script, with excellent direction and superb acting. Not a neat and tidy story, but thought-provoking long afterwards. Let's see more from this playwright and production team!... full review

'Pocket Universe' is a mysterious and fascinating show. Outside the theatre, we heard the audience talking about how this story related to their own lives. Its definitely the kind of show that keeps you talking afterwards. Its pretty incredible what was accomplished in just an hour. Great performances! Highly recommend!... full review

I was blown away by "Pocket Universe." The talented writer, director and cast blended together excellently to deliver a story that grew more haunting as it progressed. Do yourself a favor and be sure to see this play at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. ... full review

This intimate one act play grips you from the beginning. I felt like I stepped right into their world and could see and feel it all. From the writing, to the directing, and the acting, it all melded together to create something amazing. It is the perfect show to see that will get your mind turning and conversations flowing. POCKET UNIVERSE is a "must see" in this year's Fringe Festival. A beautifully painful love story that had me engaged from the beginning and stayed with me throughout the following week. It is thought provoking without being tiresome, and the dialoge rings true with grounded authenticity. A refreshingly well done piece.... full review

For this being my first Fringe show I was not disappointed! The story was a really interesting look at a married couple and, not wanting to give anything away, the way they handle grief and loss. But the turns along the way were totally unexpected. It was really interesting! Also, top notch performances from Nan and Rick. I was really feeling for both of their characters at so many different moments. You should totally go see this show!... full review

Such a beautiful show that truly captured me. I have seen a few shows thus far at fringe, but this one in particular grabbed me and left me speechless. For those that enjoy heartwarming and heart wrenching pieces that reflect on relationships and life, this is for you! Nan McNamara and Rick Marcus are two extremely talented actors who really gave it their all. I also left the theatre reliving my favorite lines; Thomas Brandon wrote this piece so well from beginning to end. Congratulations on a fantastic show!... full review

The less I say the better in this review. Not because I didn't enjoy it, I did. Not because the performances of Rick Marcus and Nan McNamara were anything short of sublime, they were not one iota short. Not because the script was weak, uninteresting, or derivative. Indeed it was startling how well everything holds together. But on one hand this play is an exploratory journey, and I won't be the one to rob you of that first experience. Just go see it for yourself and then we can talk about it. ... full review

One of the best pieces of theatre I have ever seen. Ever. Your actors are so good. Your script is beautifully woven. Cliche as it sounds, I laughed and cried – often just a minute apart. That you can create something so compelling with a few simple props and a running time of under an hour is testament to the writer and director. Seeing it a second time!... full review
