My overall impression
I saw ‘The Yearbook’ on its final performance night. It was a sold out crowd that seemed to enjoy the play as much as I did. It was truly laugh out loud funny! The performances were all amazing, but I really enjoyed Brandon Clark in his role as ‘Thurston Eberhard Hillsboro-Smythe’ and Erica Ball as ‘Mrs. Millian’. They both seemed to totally capture the essence of the character’s they were playing.
The play only lasted an hour, but I honestly wish it had been longer. It was fun to try to catch the punctuation mistakes & grammar mistakes the actors were trying to get across (“their”/“there”, hysterical! And the run-on sentences, classic!).
I would tell anyone that missed this performance to see it the next time it comes to the theatre. I know that I’ll be there to watch it again as well!
