The REV at The Church of E.L.V.I.S.$.

Markhum Stansbury, Jr. was Awesome with a capital "A" as The Rev. His comedic timing was impeccable and he was quick on his feet, with a bit of improv thrown in given the particular audience. My friends, family and I truly enjoyed this show and laughed from beginning to end. The writing and delivery were so impressive and I would encourage everyone to see this show.... full review

Lucy Markhum was absolutely fantastic as The Rev! His selecton and presentation of material - to appeal to the young, the middle aged, and the seasoned - wa just perfect! Everyone was laughing so hard that sometimes we almost missed the next lines. I loved the costume - especialy the glasses. I cannot remember the last time I laughed so hard. funny! Funny!! I personally enjoyed The Rev very much. He was spot on in his portrayal of a black minister with all the trappings - the voice, the cadence, the walk...everything was near perfect. Some of the humor may go over the head of those not up on pop culture but it was overall a very good time.... full review
