This is a show about me, of course, and how I found my true self at sixty years old.
I have always sought the place where I belonged, a place to fit in and more importantly to be accepted for who I am.
I share my story growing up as a tail end baby boomer, flower child coming of age in the sixties and seventies, a roller blading hottie in a hot pink thong bikini on Santa Monica beach to becoming an Orthodox Jewish woman in a shaitel (wig) and everything in between.
Finding the balance between belief and belonging and being completely honest with who I am and my place in the world has been a journey.
I’ve tried blending in like a chameleon all my life, each incarnation getting me closer to believing in myself and understanding that I am enough.
