I saw Richard Tanner's Small Parts a few weeks ago and was very impressed. I loved everything about it from the writing, acting and production! It was a real look into being an actor in such a difficult industry and a triumph of accepting who you are and your calling. ... full review

Richard Tanner's Small Parts was a thoroughly enjoyable, rapid paced, extremely funny but heart felt play. Hopefully, he will continue to perform it for many more audiences! ... full review

a veteran performer with a lot to say, richard charms and makes you feel like you're part of his inner circle. honestly, he makes one liners look easy (and they're hhhhhard!). A delightful dude with charisma, passion for his craft, with a healthy dose of neuroses... you can't help but fall for richard. And you leave knowing, whatever role he gets, he's gonna make the most of it.... full review

Richard Tanner is an accomplished actor and writer. His comedy timing and intelligence, his emotionality, range, the freshness and intricacies of his story, and his pure showmanship make for a joyous experience. The mixed media, the direction, everything about the production was top notch. The seventy minutes went by so fast, I wanted the event to begin all over again. ... full review

Small Parts was a very enjoyable show! Alternately hilarious and touching, it tells the story of an actor's struggle to... act. Big ambitions meet small parts, hope becomes despair and then hopeful again. Oh, and I have to add that the show was "pellucid" and "saucy" (you'll understand if you see it).... full review

Richard Tanner's "Small Parts" is a window into one man's existential, humorous, and deeply personal dreams and experiences of becoming a professional working actor. I loved it!... full review

really marvelous, bright, creative, original novel but a very profound message in what seems to be a lite lilting comic piece. Not so -- there is a something new under the sun. I don't believe I've evver seen this theme before, Hard won wisdom in a delightful piece of really meaningful theatre. ... full review

I got so many laughs out of "Small Parts." Tanner's character is the "everyman" for Hollywood, someone we can all relate to. Paced and structured to keep the audience engaged, he comes full-circle at the end, weaving his personal and family sentiments into the fabric of his career, destiny, and artistic drive. I could not help but like this honest and personal peek into a career that keeps almost igniting.... full review
