My overall impression

Egomaniac is a beautiful, honest, and original play that I had the pleasure of seeing recently. It was very unique way of showing how man and women both go through the daily battle of struggling with ones own ego and the many different voices that the ego has. It mainly focuses on the relationship between one man and one woman who feel they are in love with one another but constantly battle the voices in their head which represent the ego. There are 8 main characters in the play, 4 man and 4 woman who all do a great job in this performance piece.
The performance takes you through a roller coaster of emotions some which really hit close to home for me. If you’re in a relationship I highly recommend taking your significant other along with you for the ride. Me and my girlfriend both found there were certain lessons taught through the play where we could see things we had done to each other in the past though voices not of our own but more so of the ego which often represents things such as fear, self doubt, arrogance, and insecureness. We both felt that there are many lessons to be learned from Egomaniac.

I really hope more people get a chance to go out and experience Egomaniac for themselves and I hope to see more work from the writer Paul Moore in the future.
