My overall impression
Ditto to all of the positive reviews. The writing, directing and performing were practically flawless. I hope for future collaborations between Ms. Mead and Ms. Ozymandias. Interesting tension created by the characters breaking – yet not breaking – the 4th wall. Ms. James maintained a visual focus somewhere above the audience that I found distracting, but overall her self-deprecating character was charming. Pacing was impressive, strong character development and each character was unique, believable and, yes I’ll say it, “lovable.” Great ensemble work, lots of laughs, excellent perspective on the “roles” of women today. What’s not to love?
