My overall impression

Bold, brazen, beautiful and funny to boot! Chris Farrah turns in a hilariously clever performance in this one-woman show depicting the life & trials of “Fancy” – a poor girl turned prostitute – based on the song “Fancy” as made famous by Reba McEntire.

Using very little in the way of set/props, Farrah captivates the audience with her powerful voice, funny facial expressions and witty dialogue. The cast of characters she portrays ranges from dying woman to naive teenager to brothel madam and church-going lady. I was thankful for the added costume pieces used to help differentiate between characters as there wasn’t much of a vocal change to distinguish them from one another. Even still, “FANCY” was a wildly fun tale that had us all laughing and begging for more. Highly recommended for anyone looking to have a good time.
