3 Days with Danny

Danny and Jack are estranged brothers who haven’t seen each other since their mother’s funeral a year ago. Danny loves doing speed and the Hollywood drug culture who happily chooses to live and hustle out on the streets. Jack is an actor who recently moved back to Hollywood. Out on the streets, Danny and Jack run into one another and are forced to ask, what do we do now? Jack brings obviously homeless and stinky Danny back to his rundown apartment where Danny reveals to Jack a very recent overdoes has lead Danny to rethink his drug exploration.

Over the course of the next three days, the brothers hash out their shattered pasts, abusive parents, the tumultuous circumstance of their mother’s sudden death, and Danny’s drug use as they dive into the ideas of what an individual’s inner freedom of choices are and what American society has to say about those choices.

What does real freedom look like?

Can a person choose to live life as an addict on the streets and be content?

Will shared perspective change rooted beliefs?

A deep introspective look at how a mother’s abuse and hatred for one brother compared to her love for the other brother can carve a deep wedge in the subconscious of each of them.

Can relationship recover from deep seeded pain and animosity?

Is love enough to conquer the ghosts of our past?
