In 2016, comedian Matt Lieberman was put in an unfortunate position: Reporting the news to too-online 13 year-olds. This is the story of how a comedian best known for a cartoon spider with a silly voice spun one of the most viral conspiracy theories of all time — and how he spent the Trump era blaming himself for a presidential election.
What can we learn from this as we approach another election? Anything? Maybe? Hopefully? Probably.
