A frenetic, vibrant, funny solo show about being mixed and misperceived. I often feel like I am on the outside looking in because I’ve never truly fit in a community. It can be a confusing, lonely journey searching for a sense of belonging. Why do so may of us feel the need to have our identity reflected back to us in order to feel validated? By sharing my unusual background and experiences, I hope to bring light to the fact that many people’s stories are so much more complex and nuanced than what is represented in mainstream media and societal constructs.
