Love Actually Isn't

An evening of short plays exploring the less glamorous side of love- and love lost- "Love Actually Isn't" is a poignant and comical look into the lives of these characters. From grieving families, to bitter ex's, and from second chances to the single mans meat market- you will see these well written characters brought to life by a talented cast of actors. One of the most intriguing things for me was that I know prople that are like each of the characters the writer brings to the stage. Da... full review

One Man Show: A Duet

One man show- A Duet introduces us to Tim. The guy we all know- but aren't especially quick to acknowledge. The story is hilariously portrayed by his "brain"- as embodied by these two terrific actors. But don't worry- if this is at all confusing- they spend several minutes explaining it to the audience with comical genius. And then take you on the ride of Tim's life. This show is a must see for anybody looking to laugh. Who else could make R.E.M.'s somber anthem "Everybody Hurts" make yo... full review

I saw this show during its preview. I am not usually a fan of movement pieces, however I did enjoy this piece. The performers and director painted some beautiful pictures throughout the course of this work. There use of posture, sound, word, and props were interesting and fascinating to watch. Experiment

Unfortunately- in the wake of films these days, the story arc here is not very original. The writer brings a good conflict to the stage- but has not really given the characters an arc that changes them through the course of the piece. I went in anticipating the end and not being surprised by the outcome. With that said, both actors were very committed to their roles and brought the audience the sense of urgency and despairs that they successfully maintain throughout the piece. I would reco... full review

This was a hoot. Very talented company of actors who brought this modern "life" story to stage. Anybody who is an actor in Hollywood or knows an actor in Hollywood needs to see this show. It's an awesome slice of life for those who uproot themselves in search of their "dreams" and plant themselves in the SoCal sunshine. Set against the modern "social" networks of twitter/Facebook/and text, this smart work explores life in and out if the network and in my opinion is is well worth the price o... full review
