Dating: Adults Embracing Failure

The two performers bring a number of different characters to life, including a few couples whose stories we follow from beginning to end. Along the way, we get a few vignettes about dating life, including some hilarious pick-up and break-up lines. I laughed quite a bit and was pleasantly surprised by the turns some of the scenes took. And finally, there was one moment that completely ripped my heart out in the best of ways. Highly recommended! ... full review

BLONDE AND OTHER SLIGHT DISTRACTIONS, THE

As with any collection of short plays, you're going to have your favorites and least favorites. But even my least favorite was interesting and surprising. It wasn't my least favorite because it was cliche (far from it) but because I couldn't connect with either of the characters. But I really enjoyed most of them, and my favorite one was a great combination of humorous, sad, and insightful. I also appreciated all of the thought that went into the set design. They kept things moving with quick... full review

Inside The Mind Of Me

There were a lot of interesting elements, including how they personified death and having the empty bed represent "Me", the man in the coma. And all of the performances were good, with a few stand-outs who really brought things to a high emotional level. However, the writing sometimes felt heavy-handed and generic, particularly when depicting the abuse that Me had suffered. Some of the flashbacks simply showed us moments we already knew had happened without adding any new details. The play cou... full review

Wombat Man: The Cereal Murders

A parody of old superhero shows/cartoons and breakfast cereal mascots all in one. Full of fun pop culture references and some great costumes. I was also impressed with the number of characters and locations. It keeps things moving at a speedy pace, which mimics the feel of those kinds of shows. And there were some great roles for scenery chewing, and they didn't disappoint. I particularly enjoyed Trix the Rabbit (the main villain).... full review

Dailakis is a very talented performer who is able to embody a number of character, both those from his own life and more famous figures, everyone from Bruce Lee to Dustin Hoffman. A number of celebrities (and even some cartoon characters) make appearances in his show as he talks about the influences in his life. He incorporates a number of details about his life story to make it unique while still covering topics that everyone can relate to. If you're a big film fan, you'll enjoy all of th... full review

Lost in Falling

The performances were top-notch, and I really enjoyed some of the monologue stories the characters shared - they felt very true and had a real emotional depth. They also did a fantastic job with one of the flashback scenes making the main character seem like a little girl. Great job with the casting and lighting there. ... full review

Great, entertaining show that moves quickly and does a great job of transitioning between ridiculousness and satire. Plenty of laughs and some songs that will get stuck in your head in a good way.... full review
