A double entendre filled burlesque show with beautiful women. Sounds good? Cool. You'll like it then. Especially if you sit in the front row. Wink wink. The guy next to me got more action than a Charles Bronson movie. Wink Wink. Oh, I'm sorry... that's an outdated reference? Whatever, anyways, there's a great tap number, some lovely singing and a really solid, tight band. Those guys were pros. The pianist was top notch, bass player was tasteful and the drummer wasn't ever overwhelming. It says so...

First off. This show is a lot of fun. While it is just flat out satirical and zany, the actors still stay truthful and committed to their respective roles. The show is very self-aware of itself which is part of the charm. A great fringe show. Secondly, Poe Show does not feel like, or present itself as a play. It is certainly a show of it’s own breed.
