Brilliant script, excellent performances, incredible scenic miracles worked in the tiny and limited Studio space. A feminist/feminine take on Sartre's No Exit. See it if you can!... full review

Jordan Maverick, History Teacher

A fast-paced, hilarious hour of big, over-the-top comedy that satirizes the completely insane idea that "well-trained teachers" holding handguns is a reasonable way to deal with school shootings in America. Excellent cast with great timing, and great use of theatrics to soften what could otherwise have become a somewhat disturbing theme.... full review

An atmospheric and chilling theatrical experience with a spectacular ensemble cast, that peppers in a healthy dose of humor throughout. This team works wonders with a tiny and limited venue, taking you on a mysterious journey within the hour. ... full review

The Last PowerPoint

A brilliant, bizarre, and wonderfully charming piece unlike anything else you'll see this Fringe (or maybe ever.) Ben speaks fluent corporate marketing lingo, but mashes it up with dadaist postmodern poetry/existential ruminations, singing, dancing, and crowd work. He's 100% committed to the strange fever dream of a show he's created, and as an audience member I was completely drawn in by the weird spell he cast. ... full review

Laertes Loves Hamlet Loves Ophelia

Tremendous acting and an entertaining reflection on a familiar tale. I've never been let down by this group-- last year's Quantum Entanglement was my fav of the Fringe-- so I went into this show knowing essentially nothing of what to expect, and was delighted. Each character felt so real, so complex, so relatable, which really made this investigation of the old story feel very alive and engaging. The show is rife with charm, love and a palpable sense of tension throughout. I absolutely loved Kate... full review

RESA FANTASTISKT MYSTISK

A definite must-add to your viewing schedule. Hard to describe without spoiling it, so I'll just say it's incredibly entertaining, and most certainly unlike anything else you'll see at Fringe this (or any) year! Running commentary via headset adds an extra dimension to the experience, like a live DVD special feature. Brilliant performances all around!... full review

Disasteroid!

A perfect gem of a musical, filled to the brim with wit, charm, and incredibly catchy tunes. The cast is terrific, as is the band, with strong direction and choreography keeping the show moving and the comedic timing on point. You'll be smiling ear to ear the entire time. An absolute must see!... full review

Sexy, elegant and captivating, this dance piece is an absolutely gorgeous work of art that everyone should see. At $12, it’s a steal to see two masters of the tango in action. Catch it while you can, it’s only here for a few days!... full review

12 Bars

This is a lovely little show performed by a seasoned professional. Richard is a true master of clever ditties and this show offers a casual review of a selection he's composed throughout his career. I liked the intimacy of the studio space especially for this show-- felt appropriately relaxed for the style of the show-- informal-- but still presentational enough to feel like a performance, like a little jazz club. Just wish we all had drinks: listening to songs about bars makes you wish you had a... full review

The Faggot King or The Troublesome Reign of Edward II

nikki muller · June 24, 2017 certified reviewer
Another impressive display of theatricality and spectacle by thIs talented company! There is nothing as thrilling as the clang of real metal on metal, which you get plenty of here-- the show is like a way more intimate, more X-rated (yes, definitely X, not R!!) Medieval Times: the battles were incredibly impressive. Heather Schmidt is charming and hilarious as the lead, her small stature creating hilarious contrast with her much larger costars. The ensemble works beautifully together to create a ... full review
