TANGLED RIBBONS, my summer of sex, drugs & events for a cure

view project

Have you ever wanted to be a superhero? This is a story about the summer Alexa Fitzpatrick tried.

SOLD OUT in Los Angeles on Monday, June 18th! AWARD WINNING at the Orlando International Fringe Festival!

LAST SHOW is this Saturday, June 23rd at 7PM…it’s your last chance to see this show in Los Angeles. Next stops are New York City, Boston and the Saskatoon and Edmonton International Fringe Festivals.

It’s the Hollywood Fringe Festival and Tangled Ribbons is a visiting production at the ComedySportz Theater in Los Angeles.

Fitzpatrick wrote a comedy about the summer she spent touring with the breast cancer walks and the AIDS rides…this is the version that involves no reading.

Okay, just the marketing reading…and, if you come to the show, you might have to read a few signs. I hope you’re better at it than she is.

Fitzpatrick spent her summer putting up signs for AIDS rides and breast cancer walks and, even though her whole life was about putting up signs, she struggled to follow any of the important ones that tried to show her the way.

It’s also the story of why she stopped working at the Groundlings Theater. That part involves police.

This show answers the question…

Why is it when we try to do good, sometimes we get tangled up?
