On June 7th in The Flight Theater at the Complex in Hollywood is the premier of “Shut Up and Dance,” a new solo show by Stella Valente (The Hollywood Housesitter) stand comic, actress and writer. Directed by acclaimed solo show director: Richard Embardo (LA Weekly and Ovation Award nominee).
How many times do you have to bang your head against the wall until you finally change course? Ride along this fun and funny journey. From a tough love Queens upbringing to a run in with the law, Stella just can’t get a break. She finally embarks on an adventure to Buenos Aires. What she learns? Why fight when you can dance? Stella weaves the correlation of the Argentine Tango, to living life, creating lasting relationships and falling in love.

This solo show is a play in which there is structure, a cohesive story and many great characters in which I play all of them.
