June 16, 2011…Gramps’ Trunks, LLC, M Bar and KMP Artists in association with The Hollywood Fringe Festival…present HENSLEY & MONTIEL in KEEP Young and Beautiful! (if you want to be loved) created and performed by Ben Hensley and Michael Montiel. KEEP YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL! will perform on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 10:00 pm and continue a summer monthly engagement on the THIRD THURSDAY of every month at M Bar, 1253 Vine St. in Hollywood, CA.
Hensley & Montiel (AIN’T WE GOT FUN!) are back for Hollywood Fringe 2011 with a fresh take on old themes! KEEP YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL! will feature classic “Dumb Dora” sketches popularized by great comedic teams like Burns and Allen but with an innovative reimagining by Hensley and Montiel. The show contains a plethora of classic Vaudeville comic songs including I’d Like to Give it to Mary With Love, Sweet Popularity, It’s Delightful to be Married, You Made Me Love You, I Don’t Care, You’d Be Surprised, I’d Like to be an Animal in the Zoo, Some of These Days, and the Title Song. Hensley & Montiel breathe fresh life into these forgotten (yet remembered) relics of a bygone era with their sincere and heartfelt reimagining of these comic gems.

KEEP YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL! will perform on Thursday June 16, 2011 and continue on the THIRD THURSDAY every month this summer. Performances for KEEP YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL! are Thursdays at 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 and reservations can be made on Goldstar or at www.HollywoodFringe.org. The running time is 45 minutes and it is performed without an intermission. There is a $10/person Food and Beverage Minimum at M Bar. Unless advance reservations are made, tickets must be paid in cash at the door.
