The Time Flies: Episodes 3 and 4

The Time Flies is a comedy variety show that takes us through monumental historical moments and themes as viewed by our time traveling human-fly hybrid hosts as they try to correct their original sin, a timeline endangering mistake. But can they do it in their two weeks of life? And who will take up the charge when after two weeks, one dies? But the Time Flymen must daisy chain their partnerships in a grand game of mystery solving telephone as at least one Flyman dies every episode. Both episodes interconnect. Every episode tackles a different historic moment or theme with satirical sketch comedy and live music, all while the Time Flies try to chase down their generational rival who has stolen a time traveling device known as The Exposition Scroll.

Created by Dan Kerrigan, a UCB and Pack Theater sketch comedy alum, began production on its inaugural season of sketch episodes in January of 2021 while the pandemic raged and live performance had not yet returned. Over 30 writers and performers have participated in making this show a reality and we are proud to premier not just one, but two episodes of our season for Hollywood Fringe. It is our hope that this kickoff will carry us forward into a successful run with fans who come not just for the fantastic history based sketch comedy, but to see what happens to the Time Flies as their narrative weaves through the timeline.
