INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ARTIST ‘YOZMIT’ RELEASES 3-PART “MIGRATION
OF THE MONARCHS” IN LOS ANGELES THROUGHOUT JUNE

and performed by international performing artist Yozmit. Parts 1 and 2 are presented by a grant
from the City of West Hollywood’s One City One Pride LGBTQ Arts Festival. Part 3 was
selected as winner of the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Scholarship Award.

movement, and enthralling music.
Monarchs” reflects Yozmit’s personal journey of migrating from South Korea to Los Angeles, to
find her voice and freedom as a trans-identified artist. It is a story of personal power dynamics
through the various transformations of identity to encourage a shift in others and society.
Yozmit has performed internationally in Korea, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain,
Bulgaria and America including MoMA and The Box, NYC and London as a headliner. Yozmit
was featured in the HBO Documentary “Marina Abramovic: The Artist Is Present” and was
