THANKS A LOT: My Gratitusical!
One Woman’s Musical Journey To Herself And Back
Starring Miss Beryl Swiver from her own idea

Songwriter Richard Levinson (Savin’ Up For Saturday Night, National Lampoon, Clown Bar Cabaret,) first had the idea for “Thanks A Lot – My Gratitusical!” while visiting cabaret open mike shows, and seeing many very talented performers who all seemed to have the same idea — take a collection of unrelated songs and pretend that they were written just for them in order to tell their fascinating life stories.

Thus was born this parody cabaret one-woman show.

“That’s not really true,” says Levinson. “I just made that up. It’s actually a bunch of comedy songs I had so I figured why not shoehorn them into a show? Some of them are frankly filthy so it took an actress with the skill and bravery of Rebecca Larsen to really bring Miss Beryl’s life to life, plus the brilliance and naiveté of a director like Kiff Scholl who was warned and came on board anyway.”
