Mimi’s Suitcase is a universal coming-of-age story of resilience and humanity.

A European-educated young woman’s return to her native war-torn Iran after the revolution, awakens existentialist questions around the real meaning of homeland and identity in this hilarious and poignant tale of humanity and hope. Performed in English, Spanish and Persian with English surtitles.

Mimi’s Suitcase premiered at United Solo Festival 2015 in NYC and went on to win the Audience Choice Award for Best Play at Iranisches Theatre Festival 2016 in Heidelberg, Germany.
