Mudd The Magnificent: Magic & Mayhem

In June 2015, the Elephant Studio at Theater Asylum becomes home to one of Southern California’s most beloved Halloween characters. Direct from the Queen Mary’s Annual Halloween event, Dark Harbor, comes a boisterously witty comedy magic show starring the one and only MUDD THE MAGNIFICENT.

“Mudd has been charming Long Beach audiences with his lovable creepy nature for four years now and we felt it was time to amaze an entirely new group of people with his magic and mayhem”, says co-producer Bella Luna. “Mudd truly is the love child of Beetlejuice and David Copperfield!” Theatre Asylum/Combined Artform’s Producing Artistic Director, Matt Quinn said “Wow! He’s great! I’m very happy to have Mudd at our theatre”.

The man behind the Mudd is award-winning master magician, Jimmy H. A member of the World Famous Magic Castle, Jimmy H has been performing his magic for sold out audiences since the age of 16. He began working with The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor in 2011 as a street monster. In 2013, Dark Harbor director, David Wally, decided to make the most of Jimmy’s magical skills and gave him his own show on the main stage. This widely popular 25 minute show has grown and evolved into the 50 minute production now being presented at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Mudd the Magnificent: Magic & Mayhem runs for six performances in June 2015. This 50 minute show promises mind-blowing magic, ludicrous amounts of laughter, and playful maliciousness. You are cordially invited to escape reality and Get MUDDished!
