Los Angeles, June 4, 2015 – Fist The Mountain presents the world premiere of The Inside Edge of the World: Or Where Have All the Good Serial Killers Gone?, an original solo piece written and performed by Michael Evans Lopez and produced and directed by Maria Pasquarelli. As part of the 2015 Hollywood Fringe Festival, The Inside Edge of the World will be presented at the Elephant Studio at Theatre Asylum (1078 Lillian Way, Los Angeles 90038) on June 7th, 12th, 15th, 19th, 22nd & 27th.

Press night is Friday, June 12 @ 8:30pm

The Inside of the Edge of the World is the inaugural theatrical presentation from Fist The Mountain Productions, a production company created by Michael Evans Lopez and Maria Pasquarelli to foster original video content and short films about the issues that interest them. In this dark comedy, a lonely criminal forensics enthusiast stumbles across a serial killer in his own neighborhood. With the help of his dog, they set out to study the man, but end up getting a little too close. A modern-day cross between Rear Window, The Dog Whisperer and Silence of the Lambs.

The Inside Edge of the World: Or Where Have All the Good Serial Killers Gone? will be presented Sunday, Jun 7th @ 4PM; Friday, June 12 @ 8:30 pm; Monday, June 15 @ 7pm; Friday, June 19 @11:30pm; Monday, June 22 @ 11:30pm; and Sunday, June 27 @ 5:30pm.

About the Artists
Maria Pasquarelli (Producer/Director) is an actor, director, producer with an MFA in Acting from the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts. For the past 12 years, Maria has been working in Los Angeles theatre administratively, artistically and educationally. Over the last two years, she has begun to delve into film/web content as well, producing her own web series, Makin’ It, before creating Fist The Mountain with her husband and business partner.

Michael Evan Lopez (Writer/Performer) received his MFA in Acting from the University of Washington’s Professional Actor Training Program. Working as an actor for 7 years in New York and 6 years in Los Angeles, he has performed around the country in regional theaters, receiving acting awards in both Portland and Denver. Michael also has extensive comedic improv experience, having worked with the Upright Citizens Brigade in both NYC and LA and has employed his skills on TV shows such as The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien and Reno 911. www.michaelevanslopez.com
