Los Angeles, CA – Six LA playwrights weigh in with short plays involving a funeral plot, a tornado, an irresistibly sexy chair, a failed relationship, lesbian Nazis, and… a giant rat. What do they all have in common? The Kinky Neon Rocker! Just to make it more fun, we added a live Band onstage, and a black light — too cool!

“Last year was ALAP’s first Fringe show, and it was great — we sold out the entire run and people loved it. This year, we decided to have even more fun with it, so we told the writers that all the plays had to include a neon-painted rocking chair. The chair could be a character, it could be a motif, or it could just be a seating surface — whatever the playwright chose. And our playwrights chose all of them! I think the audiences will be surprised, will be laughing, will occasionally be moved — and will have a great time.” Dan Berkowitz, Co-Chair of ALAP
