FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Just like the techno finale of BRONIES: THE MUSICAL, the cast and team behind Bronies are “spinning and winning.” After receiving 8 award nominations at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2014, Bronies took home the festival’s award for Best Musical and the THIRTY90NE Golden Elephant for Best Director/Producers, as well as an Encore Producers’ Award which extends the show for two performances in July: Friday 7/11 at 10PM, and Saturday 7/12 at 8PM.

Rated 100% SWEET by critics on the Bitter Lemons Fringe-Meter, Bronies is the story of three outsiders who find purpose, meaning, love – and each other – all thanks to cartoon ponies.

“Bronies’ delightful book celebrates diversity as its dozen-and-a-half tuneful songs advance plot and make points that could easily turn Bronies: The Musical into a high school, LGBT, and theater-in-general hit.” – Steven Stanley, StageScene LA

“The cast is amazing… Their acting, dancing and vocal abilities shine through as they exemplify the virtues of Ponies and Bronies alike. If Bronies had a soundtrack album, I would rush out to purchase it.” – Bob Leggett, Examiner

Bronies’ other nominations included Top of the Fringe, Best World Premiere, DOMA Best New Musical, THIRTY90NE Golden Production and Golden Performers Mark Gelsomini and Sarah Watkins.
