FANCY: SECRETS FROM MY BOOTYDOIR, the riotous interactive cabaret experience featuring po’ country girl turned high falutin’ prostitute Fancy Jean Baker has been extended all summer long, Saturday nights at 8pm at Three Clubs in Hollywood.

Fancy! is the timeless story of a down on her luck girl whose mother turns her out and into a whore with a heart of gold (as based on the song by Bobbie Gentry and made famous by Reba McEntire.) Cult-icon/campy lady-drag queen Fancy premiered at last year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival 2013 in her first show, FANCY! A SOUTHERN GOTHIC CAMP PARABLE, only to return to Fringe 2014 bigger and better than ever with a sold-out run in Secrets From My Bootydoir. Fancy, created and performed by Chris Farah, dolls out heart-warming life lessons, shows off her killer pipes in showstopping musical numbers, and delivers sassy one-liners and sharp improv in a live, sex-themed Twitter Q & A. Secrets From My Bootydoir took home a Fringe award for top Cabaret/Variety Show, the Trailer Park award, and the Encore Producers’ Award at this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival.

After her Fringe extension, join Fancy as she pairs both shows together in “The FANCIEST Night of your Life!” starting July 27th. You’ll get to know both her intimate struggle from young girl to woman, and hear her life lessons she learned along the way, all while sipping drinks in a dark the fun lounge/cabaret setting of Three Clubs in Hollywood! Join comedy lovers in-the-know, cool Hollywood types, and legends of drag as they witness Fancy Jean Baker preaching her hilarious, campy, ballsy truth. Director of both Fancy! A Southern Gothic Camp Parable and Fancy: Secrets from my Bootydoir, Koehler is best known for his underground cult-hit of the last eleven years CHICO’S ANGELS. He has directed and co-wrote all four full staged musicals. Other critically acclaimed productions include VAMPIRE LESBIANS OF SODOM, WOMEN BEHIND BARS, THE LEGEND OF BILLIE JEAN (co-writer), THERE’S ONLY ONE JENNIFER and Julie Brown’s HOMECOMING QUEEN’S GOT A MUSICAL.
