SCHOOLCRAFT & MURRAY: SONGS FOR THE INARTICULATE OPENS JUNE 21ST!

Schoolcraft & Murray: Songs For The Inarticulate

view project

Experience the sharp wit and tasty grooves of America’s premiere unknowns as these two men, armed with only guitars and wit, give voice to those in need of some assistance with the talking… and stuff.

Featuring our tunes which are loaded with cool grooves, tasty licks and lyrics marinated with wit, the show is a culmination of many years of songwriting and performance, having cut our teeth in the world of music, acting and improvisation. Somehow, the tunes reflect the influences of Steely Dan, Lyle Lovett, Carlos Santana, and Slim Whitman all at the same time.

How is that possible, you ask? We have almost no attention span.

More About Schoolcraft & Murray
Before we met, Michael Schoolcraft had been honing his comedic skills across the country by performing with the comedy troupe, “Mumblypeg,” and the musical improv group, “The New Tonics.” As for myself, Michael Butler Murray, I had been kicking around in the professional theater scene in NYC and Chicago, including a run in the National Tour of “Mamma Mia!” After meeting at an acting class in Hollywood, CA, we soon began playing together and writing songs.
