If the idea of having several good strong belly laughs and a whole pile of smiles appeals to you then by all means get yourself over to The Renegade Theatre, 1514 N. Gardner Street, Hollywood, CA 90046. Playing now through June 29th is “Denim on Denim II” a series of live and pre recorded comedy skits. Show times are 8 pm on Thursdays and 4 pm and 7 pm on Sundays. Book your tickets now at www.hollywoodfringe.org/daily. Here is a tiny taste of what you will see and enjoy.
A steady stream of hilarious skits roughly half live on stage and the other half projected video and all laugh inducing. This team is a very gifted assemblage of talent drawn from the Renegade Players at the Renegade Theatre and Film Group conceived of and built by the legendary star of stage and screen Chick Vennera. New York native Chick Vennera began his acting career at a very young age and over the years has worked with some of the best in Hollywood including Robert Redford, Steven Spielberg, Richard Gere and Vanessa Redgrave. Chick is a true devotee of performing arts and is fully committed to helping his group of talented men and women achieve their very best in the world of stage and film. This latest offering is but one example of their achievement and it will delight you.
