Mixtape Theatre Company brings you nine solo plays in one hour on the cozy, the bleak, the beautiful, terrible, hilarious, lonely and heartwarming, all – encompassing, identity defying and defining, the many, the only: HOME.

“We are so excited about HOME. This is a brand new one-hour piece of theatre with nine solo acts, all written and performed by members of our company, alumni from the University of Texas at Austin. We originally came from different places – we have six Southerners, one Mid-Westerner and one Romanian – but since we all studied acting in Austin, Texas that creates a special bond.”

“This shared foundation for theatre makes it easy to talk together and work off one another. Each solo act draws from a combination of personal experience, spoken word, and movement to enhance the storytelling. We use our shared language to play with humor, drama and all the stuff in-between on what “home” means to us.”
