“Gallery” – An Original, New Musical – World Premiere! 5th Annual, 2014 Hollywood Fringe Festival!

“Gallery” the newest musical (their third!) from the team of Deanne Davis (Book & Lyrics) and David Wheatley (Music) will preview at The Elephant Space on June 8 at 4:00 p.m. Tickets for the preview performance will be $5.00 with consideration for Fringe Participants and anyone else who really wants to see a great new musical!

“Gallery” is the tangled and twisted story of an idealistic young artist (Tim) who is doing everything he can to avoid the family meat-packing business and follow his star. He falls in love with a young woman he meets while doing whatever he can in the art world to keep body and soul together, and an occasional pizza on the table. His love (Lenore) inspires him to new artistic heights and, as love is blind, he doesn’t seem to notice that she seems to have a lot of unexplained past. He receives a call from the most prestigious art gallery on Rodeo Drive, offering him a show. He is thrilled. His sister, who is the bulldog type of lawyer we always want on OUR side, encourages him to go for it while being cautious about the gallery owner (Constance Valero). Lovers leave, hearts are broken, shady doings come to light, all to great songs and music. “Gallery” will keep you gasping till the very end when everybody gets…. well, you’ll have to be there!

Performances: Friday, June 13 & 20 – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 21 – 11:30 p.m.
Saturday, June 28 – 1:00 p.m.

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.hff14.org/1860, or at the door. Advance purchase is highly recommended. $10-12.00 for performances – again, considerations for Fringe Festival participants and PWYC is OK!
