Performed by Katie Molinaro, with Dana Wells on acoustic guitar, RSVP:RIP (Really Into Partying) is a brand new rock musical comedy about Janey, one of Hollywood’s hottest nobodies. When she takes an ominous internet quiz that predicts her death, she must plan the sickest funeral LA has ever seen! But first, she needs to become an A-List celebrity, write her obituary and rent a moon bounce. Will she get famous before she dies or die trying? One woman. One guitarist. One week to live.

Katie Molinaro is an actress and comedian who moved to Los Angeles from Washington, DC in 2012 after her one woman rock musical, On the Rag to Riches won “Best Solo Performance” at the 2011 Capital Fringe Festival. In the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Festival, On the Rag to Riches was nominated for “Best Musical”. Award winning lyricist/singer/songwriter Dana Wells, collaborated with Molinaro on the improvised musical comedy act, Texts From My Exes which was nominated for “Best Cabaret Performance” at the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Playwright Shawn Northrip (On the Rag to Riches, Titus X, Lunch: The Musical) has an MFA in Musical Theater Writing from NYU, is an inaugural member of the Playwrights’ Arena at Arena Stage in Washington, DC, and a member of the Dramatists Guild.
Director Will Reese is a member of the Upright Citizen’s Brigade beta team, Sneak Thief and has directed/edited/written and produced for Funny or Die, College Humor, AwesomenessTV, Seventeen Magazine, Nerdist, ABC TV, Loud Village, Break.com, Google, dumbdumb, and The US Forest Service.

“Molinaro shoves this unique, comedic gem in our face, and we can’t look away. Sweet, sexy and full of post-relationship rage, this female firestorm will blow you away.” -LA Theatre Review, 2012
