ACCLAIMED SOLO SHOW “WHO AM I AND WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING?!” AT THEATRE ASYLUM (ASYLUM LAB)

Los Angeles, CA at 7:30pm June 8th, 9pm June 15th, and 8pm June 21st – Off the heels of sold out shows met with standing ovations at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Carmen Angelica’s Who Am I and What The Hell Am I Doing?! Is up again, this time at Theatre Asylum, June 8th, 9pm June 15th, and 8pm June 21st. Angelica’s show, an autobiographical look at a young woman’s view on whether she (or anyone) really knows what the hell they are doing. “Carmen is a funny, smart actor putting on a funny, smart show—don’t miss this, you hear me???” says Mike Still, UCBTLA Artistic Director.

About Carmen Angelica:
Carmen Angelica is a comedian originating from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received a BFA at NYU Tisch School for Film and Television and moved to LA to pursue writing for all the variations of screens that exist. Carmen is a writer on the UCB Maude team Tut. She can be seen around the comedy scene in LA, in addition to performing in national improv festivals like The Chicago Improv Festival, The Del Close Marathon and the Twin Cities Improv Festival. Carmen works in production as a director and producer (directing independently and for web series like SRSLY). About Rebecca Drysdale:
Rebecca Drysdale was born in Akron Ohio, grew up in Versailles, Vancouver Canada, Montreal Canada and New York City. She attended Sarah Lawrence College for a minute, where she met her writing partner Jordan Peele and subsequently moved to Chicago to pursue sketch comedy and Improvisation. Rebecca is an Alum of Boom Chicago in Amsterdam, and The Second City Chicago where she toured with the National Touring Company and later became a resident cast member. In 2005 Rebecca won the first ever Breakout performer award at the Aspen Comedy Festival. Rebecca has appeared at the Improv Olympic Chicago and West, The Upright Citizen’s Brigade East and West, The Second City Chicago, and owns and runs the Clubhouse, an independent improv theatre in Hollywood. Rebecca has worked with HBO, LOGO, MTV, The Jim Henson Company and currently writes for Key and Peele on Comedy Central.
