HOLLYWOOD – Having wowed Los Angeles audiences just this past March with their acclaimed production of SWEET TWEETS at The Second City Hollywood, BGBA Media Group returns for the 2014 Fringe Festival with the World Premiere of Cassandra Shea’s dramady, THE CITY LIGHTS. In partnership with acclaimed directors Caitlin Muelder and Scott Ferrara, BGBA Media Group is proud to bring this beautifully devastating ode to self indulgence, self control, and of course, the city.

THE CITY LIGHTS follows the trials, tributes, and everyday monotony of four young women living in the city. This fast paced drama captures audiences within seconds of lights up when we are first introduced to these women in overlapping dialogue. Crushing realities set in quickly as living in the concrete jungle fuels each of their vices and entangles them even further in the hostile patterns their environment has created. Touching on absurdist plays such as ENDGAME and RAISED IN CAPTIVITY, THE CITY LIGHTS brings a modern twist to a classic story; how destructive can one’s environment be to their emotional state?
