Los Angeles: The audiences of the Hollywood Fringe Festival have spoken and Liz Femi’s TAKE ME TO THE POORHOUSE, directed by Jane Morris has been extended for three additional performances. Remaining performances are July 12th(8pm), 18th (8pm) and 26th (10PM) at The Lounge Theatre, 6201 Santa Monica Blvd. Tickets are $15, and 10% of all proceeds go to the Mama Hope Foundation to “stop the pity and unlock the potential” in several African communities.

In addition to winning the BEST OF FRINGE extension, TAKE ME TO THE POORHOUSE took home the title of “BEST INTERNATIONAL SHOW” and has been nominated for a Duende Distinction Award and the Bitter Lemons Trailer Park award for their trailer. Femi’s work has also been selected to travel to New York to take part in the United Solo Festival this fall.
