CONFESSIONS OF THE HAPPY BRIDE AT THE FRINGE

Heidi-Marie Ferren brings her uproariously funny one-woman show, ‘Confessions of the Happy Bride’ to Los Angeles this summer as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. It will be playing at the The Ruby Theatre@ The Complex – 6476 Santa Monica Blvd., Hlywd at 3:00pm on June 15th and 2:15pm & 7pm on June 16th. Heidi-Marie is an actress, vocalist, and writer who hails from California, Arkansas, and Texas. For the past four years she has served our service members as Miss USO, performing and speaking across the globe as an ambassador and steward of gratitude. She has performed and lectured in over 700 venues including performances at CitiField, Nassau Coliseum, Madison Square Garden, and President Clinton’s Inauguration. She has played major roles on stage and screen from coast to coast and is excited to return to sunny California to tell this laugh out loud story. She hearkens back to her Southern roots for this hilarious bridal romp that follows one bride’s quest to have a huge southern wedding despite an estranged family, a crack-pot wedding planner, a hands off groom concerned his virgin bride won’t be able to satisfy his “manly” needs, a heartless ob-gyn, and a mother desperate to live out her unrealized marital dreams through her daughter.
