ABOUTTILT”:
Two strangers’ carpool from Los Angeles to Sacramento unravels when they decide to try to extort money from a Department of Motor Vehicles bribery scheme headquartered in Bakersfield.

A blistering dark comedy about the odds of reaching your destination when self-destruction is riding shotgun, “TILT” is the brand new play by Ben Moroski, creator of the hit Hollywood Fringe solo plays “The Wake” (Best Solo Show, HFF 2014) and “This Vicious Minute” (Nominee, Best Solo Show, HFF 2012).

Starring alongside Moroski in “TILT” will be long-time Hollywood Fringe veteran and last year’s Top of the Fringe and Best Solo Show winner Michael Shaw Fisher (“Shakespeare’s Last Night Out”).

TILT” is directed by Nick Massouh – a director, actor, improviser and a founding company member of the critically acclaimed Impro Theatre – who previously directed both of Ben Moroski’s award-winning solo plays, “This Vicious Minute” and “The Wake.”

“True candidate for best of show – don’t miss it.” TEN FAVORITE SHOWS ~ Indie Voice Blog

“Pinter meets Shepard…performers at the top of their game.” RECOMMENDED ~ FringeReview UK

“Not for the faint of heart…Superb performances” ~ Not Born Yesterday

“Calls to mind a violent ‘Waiting for Godot’ and the claustrophobia of Sartre’s ‘No Exit’…the acting is superb…intense and unrelenting…a tour de force performance á duex.” ~ Paul Myrvold’s Theatre Notes
