Dance, like instrumental music, can touch emotions and feelings like few other art forms can. And when creatively presented, executed at a high level, and performed with such vulnerability, it's can be as impactful as anything. "Hush" is a performance that takes the viewer on a journey that is provocative without being obvious and makes the audience truly aware of their own feelings of sexuality, boundaries, and the innocence we lose growing up, but yearn for as adults. This has been the only show I've chosen to see multiple times at the 2018 Fringe Festival. And if my schedule permitted, I'd see it even more. Immersive theater is a tricky proposition but in the hands of these great artists, you are immersed as deeply in a different reality as you choose to be. Even if, as a participant, you want to keep a comfortable distance, it's one of the best experiences at the Fringe this year.
