Jessica Beck
Jessica Beck is an American theatre director and dramaturg specialising in new writing and devised work based in London. Recent productions include: The Masters of Mystery, music by Ethan Maltby, Lyrics by Jenna Donnelly, Book by Donnelly & Maltby (Marlowe Theatre/Canterbury Festival 2017); Agent of Influence: The Secret Life of Pamela More by Sarah Sigal (UK Tour 2017/Edinburgh 2016); and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot by Rebecca Crookshank, winner of the Devon Performance Awards Performer of the Year 2016, and multiple award nominations including The Liberty Human Rights Arts Award 2016 and Best Director & Best Production Broadway UK Awards 2015 (UK Tour 2016/Edinburgh 2015). Jessica was an Associate of Theatre503 from 2004 – 2010, and an Artistic Associate of The Bike Shed Theatre, Exeter from 2011 – 2018. Recipient of the New York International Excellence Award for Outstanding Direction 2007.
