Powerful. Evocative. Moving. As if peering from behind a closet door we glimpse inside the lives of those close to Abraham Lincoln and what it may have been like to stand alongside him, or fall into his shadow. There were no weak links in this cast each supporting the other's tight-wire act nuanced with their characters hopes and frailties. A place of nourishment to sit down to. ...

Writer Jeremy Kehoe brings his precision-sharp point of view to this piece. And timely as well. Have been a fan of Jeremy's work and his writing here continues to show his skill creating dialogue that is both painfully direct and comedically relieving through out. Kudos to the stand out performances of Drew McAuliffe and Andrew Preston along with the rest of the cast, director and crew building a piece to speak to a rising crisis in our country today....

Really lovely and such a feat by Jon Peterson! I was easily drawn into the character of Anthony Newley through Jon's charming performance. Couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for the character, who reminded me in much the same way as Joe Gideon in "All That Jazz". Director Gwen Hillier stitched it all together with finesse, seamlessly folding costume changes into the flow of Peterson's eloquence. ...

Wonderful! did not have an idea of what I would see and hear and found myself laughing quite out loud for a Sunday morning! All the actors brought such commitment to every role and every role that it was so easy to believe in their stories. Writing was crisp and all well directed with the air sucked out just enough to leave me wanting a bit more. ...
